Lake of Bays Sailing Club (LBSC) Capital Campaign

On behalf of the LBSC Capital Campaign, we are grateful for your ongoing financial support of the club. Maintaining our fleet, dock and clubhouse requires significant funding that goes beyond what we can generate in program fees. Your support is vital.

Last summer, we concluded our three year capital-raising campaign in conjunction with LBSC’s 60th anniversary celebration.  The success of the fundraising efforts enabled the construction of our new sailing dock, improvements to the washrooms, and continued upkeep of the fleet. 

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has already contributed. Your generosity is helping secure the future of our sailing club — enhancing our facilities, updating equipment, and ensuring we continue to provide a top-notch experience for all members. Your names are recognized on our donor board in the clubhouse. 

The donation portal at SailCanada will be kept open for the foreseeable future to facilitate donations during the “Victory Lap”  phase of the capital campaign. If you’ve been considering a  donation but haven’t yet had the chance, now is the perfect time to  get involved and be part of this exciting chapter. 

Victory Lap donations will fund the restoration of the clubhouse which is need of major rehabilitation.
